Bremen in 3D

Around the Bremen Town Musicians

Located round the western side of the Rathaus, where you will also find the Ratskeller, the bronze statue of 1951 by local sculptor Gerhard Marcks represents the Bremen Town Musicians (Fairy tale story by Brothers Grimm).

At the back lies the Market Square and the Schütting. On the right Liebfrauenkirchhof, the square in which you are standing is visible. The place also marks Unser Lieben Frauen, the city’s oldest parish church from the 11th century. To the right of the Ratskeller’s outdoor seating you are looking into Obernstrasse, Bremen’s city centre shopping mall. The Tourist Information Centre is sited at the corner of Liebfrauenkirchhof.
