Square in front of Main Railway Station

While the square received a makeover a few years ago, renovation of the railway station, which houses the new Tourist Information Centre, was completed recently.

A stretch of parkland popular with many people links the imposing railway station and the Übersee Museum Bremen, which opens up ‘the whole world under one roof’. The spacious square provides easy access to buses and trams that connect with destinations across the city. A meeting place for skaters has been created opposite the railway station, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. A number of hotels, the Cinemaxx cinema complex and the new cycle station are situated close to the station.
