UNESCO World Heritage
The landmark attraction on Bremen's historical market square is the town hall, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2004 together with the Roland statue that stands before it. Guided tours of the building give an insight into its fascinating history. The Upper Hall and the Golden Chamber are two of the most impressive sights on the tour.
